My favorite activity on our trip was the hiking. The Rocky Mountains and the surrounding areas are so beautiful, and the produce many picture taking opportunities. Every corner we turned I kept seeing new spots, but sometimes you just have to keep moving! The first full day we were there, we took a small hike on a trail right from the YMCA grounds. We saw everything from bridges to streams to wildflowers to steep cliffs. This was the kids first experience in seeing things like this, and they were exclaiming over it every step of the way! Fun day on the trails...in a couple of years we will be making the "all day" hikes. Can't wait.
