The five of us set out to explore Lily Lake. It was a beautiful and flat trail, and although the rain threatened to ruin our fun, we made it all the way around. The kids made friends with the chipmunks everywhere we went!
What a great hike this was. Were the kids more fascinated with the mountain/lake/views or all the chipmunks?? It was definately the chipmunks. These little guys literally ate out of the kids hands (to the horror of Mom). All is good, no one was bitten and to the dismay of the kids we could not take one of our friendly chipmunks home.

Things I am thankful for....Jesus, my family, my friends, photography, soccer, Dr. Pepper, Girlfriend's Bible Study, the sound and smell of the beach, the color red, girls' weekends, competition, staying up late, sleeping late, running, playing dominos, books and book club, blogging, JDRF, watching sports, a hand written note, mexican food, shopping, and making memories.
