This was definitely the most unusual Christmas Eve we have ever had because it was a WHITE Christmas Eve. It started snowing early in the morning, but it wasn't sticking much. By early evening, though, it was like a blizzard outside, and the ground, trees, and roofs were covered. It was absolutely beautiful. We made it to church at 3:00, and the kids were all involved in the service. Will was a shepherd, Caroline was an angel, and Allison read scripture. Instead of going out to eat, Gram and Grandpa just came over and we ate barbecue and had our birthday cake celebration for Jesus. Grandma was also staying with us, and we loved celebrating with her. The kids got to open one gift - new pajamas. We set out some cake and milk for Santa, and three food outside for the reindeer. After checking where Santa was on the computer satellite, the kids went off to bed with a lot of anticipation for the next day!
