Christmas Festival

One of our annual outings for Christmas is the White's Chapel Christmas Festival. It seems like each year it gets a little bit bigger and better, and we always have a great time. This year the weather was cold, but that didn't stop us from playing the games, riding the train, horseback riding, climbing on bounce houses, riding the rides, watching the live Nativity presentation, and eating some good, old-fashioned carnival food.

What a blast this was...you would not think that it was about 15 degrees outside with all the smiles on everyones faces (ok, maybe 15 degrees is pushing it and it was more like 40...but it sure did feel cold). It was fun to go on the train with Will a couple of times while the girls got their faces painted (love the "guy" bonding time). We are blessed with a great church that puts on fun and educational programs...so glad we are a part of wcumc.

PS...next year we need to remember to go out for dinner first (those "cold" hotdogs did nottttt hit the spot)

Forgot to mention how fun it was to see Caroline and Allison go on the rides...your smiles are amazing. I will say that this was one of the first times that Allison wanted (and did) go off with her friends. Scary to see my little girl grow up :(

Dad

PS...Allison did give me an amazing kiss good night that eased my fear of her growing up to fast. Reminded me again that she will always be my "little girl".
