Father/Daughter Dance

Last Sunday the girls had a wonderful time with Ray at the Indian Princess Father/Daughter dance. This is an annual event, and the girls love to get dressed up and taken out by Dad. Similar to last year there was some drama over what to wear at the last minute. I guess I better get used to that with girls in the house! I don't know what was wrong with their beautiful red Christmas dresses, but apparently that was no good for this event. I did insist that whatever they wore came from their closet, so in the end everyone was happy. Caroline got her hair curled, and Allison got her hair straightened! The highlight is that Dad comes around to the front door, rings the doorbell, gives them a wrist corsage, and then escorts them out. They have dinner and do a little dancing. Allison told me her favorite part of the evening was the slow dance with Dad, and Caroline's favorite part was playing with her friends! I heard the food was not the best and that the hotel was understaffed, but I bet that the girls didn't notice any of that. They will just remember a special night with their daddy!

What a special time. Love going out with my two beautiful girls and getting lots of hugs and kisses from them. Caroline loved spending lots of time with her friends...but it was amazing to see how much Allison was into dancing with her dad. I saw true love and admiration in her eyes (never will forget these moments). On a funny note...I still can't dance the macarena (spelling??).

Love you girls. Dad.
