Billy Goat Gruff

Will's Transitional Kindergarten class put on a small play at the end of class the other day. The boys had made puppets and said the words to this very cute Billy Goat Gruff. Will was grinning from ear to ear!

Valentine's Day 2010!!!

The kid's Valentine's parties didn't happen exactly when they were supposed to due to the big snowstorm. Will had his on Thursday, the day the snowstorm hit. Instead of doing it at the end of the day, they had the party right at the beginning because of the snow. The girls had to wait until the following Tuesday because school was cancelled on Friday, and Monday was a scheduled holiday. They all had fun making their boxes and bags, and we've all been eating out of the candy box now for several days. I think I scoped out the chocolate really fast! I was so glad I was able to be at all three parties and enjoy watching them play games and celebrate with their friends.

Snow Snow and More Snow!!!!

Wow!!! What an experience. They had been predicting some snow and light accumulation for the end of this week, but we woke up Thursday morning to a ton of snow on the ground. It was beautiful, and before it actually stopped during the night early Friday morning, we had a record breaking 12 plus inches of snow. It has been incredible to look at and to play in. I don't know who has had more fun - the kids or Boston! They did go to school for half a day on Thursday, but school was cancelled on Friday, so we have had lots of time together inside and out!
