In October a good friend of mine, Heather, turned 40 and hosted a 70's and 80's birthday party. Ray and I chose to go dressed from the 70's decade, and we had a blast. I usually don't like costumes or dressing up, but we really got into this. There were friends there that I almost didn't even recognize. It was a great party complete with delicious food and fun music from the past. My favorite part of our outfits (besides my go-go boots, which were by the way very comfortable) was the gold "R' medallion that Ray made to wear right before going to the party. It earned him the name Rockin Ray.
